Set of eight (8) Fuel Injector connectors with 6 inch pigtail wires for EV6 and EV14 Bosch type fuel injectors. Pigtail wires are GXL automotive wire with Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation material (SAE Spec J-1128, meets or exceeds Ford Spec M1L-123A and Chrysler Spec MS-8288). Conductor material is 100% copper. Beware of other vendors selling these connectors with non- automotive grade PVC insulated wire – this type of wire does not belong in an engine compartment of a modern automobile. Inferior PVC insulated wire does not have anywhere near the heat, oil and solvent resistance of Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulated wire. If you hold a PVC insulated wire to the flame of a lighter for a few seconds it will quickly melt and burn leaving a charred black brittle residue. XLPE insulated wire will easily withstand this flame test and retain its insulating properties and flexibility.
